Project: $810M energy infrastructure project for Louisiana State University (LSU) at Baton Rouge
Role: Supplier diversity consulting
Description: Developed and manage a customized Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) compliance program for the 30-year construction infrastructure project on the campuses of LSU.  

Client: 1532 Tulane Partners, Inc. 
Project: $310M Charity Hospital Redevelopment in New Orleans, LA
Role: Supplier diversity consulting
Description: Developed and manage a customized DBE compliance program for the mixed-use redevelopment on the site of the former New Orleans Charity Hospital.

City of New Orleans employee health insurance and wellness  
Role: Employee outreach; professional staffing  
​Description: Provide medical professional staffing to oversee health and wellness outreach to city employees to improve health outcomes and reduce healthcare costs. 

Client: Providence Community Housing
Project:
$120M B.W. Cooper Public Housing Redevelopment, Phase II 
Role: Supplier diversity consulting; workforce training 
​Description: Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Section 3 subcontractor compliance management and workforce consulting. 

Client: Mississippi Development Authority (MDA) 
Project: MDA Advanced Contractor's College
Scope: Developed a customized Contractor's College curriculum that includes construction estimating training for a state-wide training program for small, minority- and women-owned firms engaged in the construction industry.

Scope: Developed and manage a customized entrepreneurship training program for low-income and public housing residents.

Capital One Bank (2012-2020)   
Project: Contractor's College 
Scope: Developed and managed a customized construction business management training program for the bank's Getting Down to Business construction industry clients.
Impact: Trained over 200 contractors in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Houston and Dallas. 

Client: Enterprise Homes/Providence Community Housing (2015-2016)
Project: Lafitte Senior Housing Development
Scope: DBE, WBE and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Section 3 compliance management and workforce consulting for the $18 million-dollar public housing development. 
Impact: Exceeded the DBE, WBE and Section 3 participation goal by 5% and the HUD Section 3 employment goal by 115%.

Client: Enterprise Homes/Providence Community Housing (2014-2016)
Project: 
Faubourg Lafitte Housing Redevelopment 
Scope: DBE, WBE and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Section 3 compliance management and workforce consulting for the $161 million-dollar public housing redevelopment.
​Impact: Exceeded the DBE, WBE and HUD Section 3 contracting goals by 14.13% and the HUD Section 3 employment goal by 145%.

Client: TruFund Financial Services (2015)
Project: 
Customized training program authoring 
Scope: Developed a TruFund branded Contractor's College curriculum and trained TruFund's staff on how to coordinate, plan and implement the program for the Louisiana market.
Impact: After successfully conducting multiple cohorts of the program in New Orleans and Baton Rouge, Start Smart was retained to develop the program for the Alabama and New York markets.

Client: City/Parish of East Baton Rouge (2013)
Project: HUD Section 3 program compliance training  
Scope: Trained the city's housing department on HUD Section 3 program guidelines, management and best practices.
Impact: The city's housing department implemented recommendations presented during the training and subsequently passed its HUD Section 3 field compliance audit. 

Client: Capital One Bank (2012-2019)
Project: Getting Down to Business small business training program
Scope: Conducted strategic planning, business planning and business credit workshops for Getting Down to Business programs in New Orleans Houston and Dallas.
Impact: 100% of program participants rated the workshops as outstanding (5 out 5 on all workshop evaluation forms). 

Client: City of New Orleans (2010-2012)
Project: 
Supplier Diversity Consulting and Program Management
Scope: Re-engineered and managed of the state and local disadvantaged business enterprise (SLDBE) program for the $1.2 billion-dollar Post-Katrina infrastructure rebuilding program.
​Impact: Increased SLDBE participation on City contracts from 16% to over 32% in less than 15-months.
